they're honestly the worst mechanic ever to be introduced to Civ games. 50% failure rate is bullshit, more like 80%+ on level 1, I actually spawned in 500 of them with a mod just to test it, 411 failed out of 500 on the 1st concert... How is that 50%? ...

A well placed industrial zone that can provide Sometimes MASSIVE amounts of production with a well placed aquaduct and dam. It can make a city with hardly any production your best city for pumping out units. The factory provides not only power but an extra 3 production to city centers within 6 tiles. If you can get a Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, the plus 2 charges on the engineers from the great engineer points make throwing out wonders a breeze or the engineers at the end of the game that give production to space race projects. It's one of my favorite districts

Firstly, im a huge fan of yours! You basically taught me how to play civ! Secondly im ngl the reveal had the opposite effect on me. I was not excited afterwards and thought they were going a little too far with the changes. Im glad you are excited for it though and i dont want to kill your vibe

The fear of disappointment from a botched release is real. Companies and their lust for endless profits always trump quality, you definitely have to be guarded on your expectations as your love for a series can quickly be destroyed by narcissistic c suites choosing profits over quality. Civ is hands down my favorite franchise ever, dating back to the first Civ. Please, please, please learn from the terrible mistakes made by other companies and put quality above profits, if you do that, the profits will come, don’t, and you’ll torch your companies brand forever.

You are a lot like Ursa Ryan. Looks like you took a lot from him. You took some takes on the game from him. You even make kinda the same comments. Sorry, trolling, but i am just SO sick of hearing about humankind and what was stolen from it, it's almost kinda inhuman. It's like Benz inventing the car, Ford taking that idea, buiding his own car-like thing (which noone really drives,btw) Ford adds a rear view mirror to his. And then when Benz later reveals his newest Hellmachine (with an added rearviewmirror), everybody tells him he stole from Ford. WTF?! But i am SO hyped for CIV7. Since i still love CIV6, i don't need another one just like it, maybe just prettier. This is new and exiting. Respect!

I am not going to put thousands of hours into this game. I doubt I'll even buy it. I have been on the Civ journey since Civ 1 in 1992. I loved Civs 1, 2, 4 and 6. Civ 5 was the worst - I bought it when it came out and I was so dismayed that I never played it again. Apparently the DLCs addressed many of the issues but they lost me on release. So Civ 4 powered me through to Civ 6, just like Civ 2 did. What I most dislike about this 7th iteration is the idea that your civ does not continue. Essentially you play three games on top of each other. At a certain moment in time, every single civ suddenly disappears and another appears on top of it. They even use the analogy of London and the idea that a Roman London lies underneath. I find this absolutely uninteresting. I also dislike the end of workers. I like having to make decisions about placement of districts, improving or chopping etc.

I'm not open minded to this. My first decision in a civ game is what civ will I play as? I hate this. I went from excited, wanting to pre-order, to meh, maybe if it's on sale, in about 20 seconds. I didn't expect to be here, but it is what it is. The map art/assets do looks amazing though.
